For UK contractors, property & facilities teams

Stop tracking contractor insurance in a spreadsheet

CoverTrack reads the insurance certificates your subcontractors and suppliers send, checks them against the cover you require, and flags only what needs your attention: missing cover, low limits and policies about to expire.

How it works

From broker letter to clear answer in three steps

No new process to learn. You keep collecting certificates the way you do now; CoverTrack does the reading and checking.

  1. 1

    Set the cover you require

Create a rule set for each type of vendor: public liability, employers' liability, professional indemnity and more, with minimum limits. Start from the UK templates.

  2. 2

    Upload their certificates

Add the broker letter or policy schedule a vendor sends, as a PDF or photo. CoverTrack reads the insurer, policy number, cover types, limits and expiry dates.

  3. 3

    Act on the exceptions

Each certificate is checked against your rules. Compliant vendors stay quiet. Gaps are flagged critical, major or minor so you know who to chase first.

Inside CoverTrack

The real product, not a mock-up

These are CoverTrack's own screens, filled with example data. What you see here is what you get.

Dashboard

See where every vendor stands

One screen shows how many vendors are compliant, expiring in the next 30 days, have exceptions, need a review or have no certificate on file. The needs-attention list puts the worst problems first.

Compliance checks

Know exactly what's wrong, and how much it matters

Each certificate is compared with the requirements for that vendor. CoverTrack shows what you required, what the certificate says, and how serious the gap is.

CriticalMajorMinor
  • Critical: cover missing, expired, or limit below your minimum
  • Major: indemnity to principal or waiver of subrogation not confirmed
  • Minor: cover expiring within 30 days

Requirements

Your rules, in UK insurance terms

Set requirement rule sets for each type of vendor, with the cover types and minimum limits your contracts ask for. Link a rule set to a vendor type and every vendor of that type is checked against it.

  • Public, employers' and products liability, PI, motor / fleet
  • Limits in pounds, per occurrence, per claim or aggregate
  • UK starter templates to get going quickly

Built UK-first

Not a US tool with the labels swapped

CoverTrack was built around how insurance certificates actually look and work in the UK.

CoverTrack tracks and flags

CoverTrack checks the certificates you upload against the requirements you set. It doesn't confirm policy status with insurers or brokers, and it doesn't provide insurance or legal advice.

  • UK documents

Built to read UK broker confirmation letters and policy schedules, not the US ACORD 25 form.

  • UK cover types

Public liability, employers' liability, professional indemnity, products liability and motor / fleet, plus anything else your contract schedule needs.

  • UK statutory minimums

The UK templates set employers' liability at the £5m minimum under the Employers' Liability (Compulsory Insurance) Act 1969.

  • Pounds, not dollars

Limits are set and shown in GBP throughout.

FAQ

Common questions

What does CoverTrack actually do?

You set the insurance each type of vendor must hold. When a vendor sends a certificate, you upload it and CoverTrack reads it, checks it against those requirements, and flags anything missing, expired, expiring or below your minimum limits.

Does CoverTrack confirm cover with the insurer?

No. CoverTrack checks the certificates you upload against the requirements you set. It doesn't contact insurers or brokers, and it doesn't provide insurance or legal advice. If something looks wrong, confirm it with the vendor or their broker.

What if the AI misreads a certificate?

CoverTrack only treats an extraction as reliable when it's confident about the key details, such as the insured name, cover types and expiry dates. If it isn't, the certificate is marked 'needs review' so a person checks it before it counts as compliant.

Which documents can I upload?

UK broker confirmation letters, policy schedules and certificates as PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 10 MB each. Forwarding certificates to CoverTrack by email is coming soon.

Does it send reminders to my vendors?

Not today. CoverTrack shows you who is expiring, out of date or missing a certificate so you know exactly who to contact. We'll update this page if that changes.

How much does it cost?
